Community Work

Peyton's Pastries was born out of love of baking and giving back to the community.

Why?

Giving back to the community and doing charity work has always been something I've been passionate about. From working at a food back to fundraising for childhood cancer research.

In 2008, I was diagnosed with childhood neuroblastoma. My dad joined St. Baldrick's to help raise money for cancer research and to shave his head. A few years later, my brother started doing it. I wanted to help raise money, so I started baking for the fundraiser. My first year, we raised $1,500 just on cupcake sales.

In 2018, I was given a grant of $500 to put towards my passion. After weeks of hard work. I raised $3,000 put to St. Baldrick's and Camp iHope, a camp that lets kids who have been impacted by cancer, have a chance to be kids.
